When you go on a "program" to lose body fat, you may set yourself up for failure. A program implies an end point, which is when most people return to their previous habits. If you want to lose fat and keep it off, make changes that you can live with indefinitely. Don't over-restrict calories, and find an exercise program that adequately challenges you, provides progression, and offers sufficient variety so that you can maintain it for years to come.
Consuming too many starchy foods, such as potatoes, rice, pasta, and breads (especially at one sitting), provides your body with more than it needs for energy and glycogen stores; anything left over will be stored as fat. "You don't have to eliminate starchy carbs completely," says IFBB pro Mike Matarazzo. "But you should really cut back on them when trying to shed body fat." Limit total starch servings per day to 3-5, where a serving size is one cup of pasta, rice, or sliced potatoes.
When insulin is produced for no apparent purpose - for example, when we eat a large pizza late at night - the glucose (a form of sugar converted from carbohydrates) that prompts its release will be, in large part, transformed into glycogen (another form of sugar stored in the muscles and liver) and tucked away for future use. And this is where the problem lies. Once our body's capacity for glycogen storage has been reached (around 350 grams in most adults) any remaining will be converted into fat. For a well fed bodybuilder - especially one whose diet includes 40 percent of their total daily calories in the form of carbohydrates - this 350 gram limit will probably be maintained into the evening hours.
The goal is to break the cycle of the body using just protein or even carbs for fuel; we want the body to be over loaded with dietary fat for a period of time so the system can efficiently use fat as fuel. When you will return to a lower dietary fat intake, yet the body will still know how to utilize the stored fat on your backside as fuel instead of your hard earned muscle.

So how does all of this relate to fat loss or weight loss? Initially, during aerobic exercise, glycogen is used. But, in its absence or when the activity lasts a long time, fat metabolism is initiated and fat is broken down to be turned into ATP. "Slowing down can help you check in with your hunger levels. For that reason, I love snacking on 100-calorie packs of in-shell pistachios," Gorin says. "Shelling the pistachios helps you slow down your snacking, and the shells leave a visual cue to remind you of how much you've eaten. Eat only fresh fruits with a high level of antioxidants such as lemon, oranges, etc. The meals and snacks must strictly comprise fruits, as these contain more water, essential nutrients and less fat. To make low-calorie snacks out of fruits, you could prepare smoothies with low-fat yoghurt and lots of fresh fruits. 2. Timing is everything. Drink water (1/2 your body weight in oz) in between the meals to properly cleanse and hydrate without interfering with the digestion. Strive to maintain a least a 4 hour window between meals for proper digestion and a surge in human growth hormone that will whittle your middle.  Shoot to have a full 12 hour fast between dinner and breakfast, this will ensure your organs are getting the chance to detox appropriately and speed up weight loss. "Any competitor who drastically cuts calories to try to get leaner for a show learns that that's not the best way to diet," says IFBB fitness competitor Laurie Vaniman. "You end up looking flat and depleted." The same holds true for noncompetitors; aim for a modest decrease in calories instead. Smaller bodybuilders shouldn't cut more than 200-300 calories per day, and larger bodybuilders shouldn't cut more than 500, says Aceto.
That place where fat is stored — the adipose tissue — is our body fat. It’s brought there via the bloodstream (i). Adipose tissue is made of adipocytes, cells specialized in the storage of fat. These cells look like bubbles packed close to each other. When our body uses the fat contained in the bubbles, they decrease in size. But, when we store excess fat (coming from any foods), the bubbles increase in size (hypertrophy) and number (hyperplasia).
3. Perform 2-4 short “tabata” style work outs (20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for 8 rounds) throughout the day.  Don’t worry about making it really difficult, just get up and move your booty.  Good movements are basic body weight movements like – planks, jump squats, ground touch jump squats, pushups, air squats, lateral lunges, back ward lunges, forward lunges, squat thrusts, burpees, etc.  Mix the movements up!  Don’t think you have to perform the same movement for all 8 rounds.
